Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our culinary team, specializing in the flavors of Southeast Asia. As a skilled professional, you will prepare and cook a wide variety of Zi Char dishes, inspired by street food from Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute daily specials or seasonal dishes that reflect the flavor profile of Southeast Asian cuisine, utilizing your knowledge of stir-fry dishes, sauces, and ingredients.
  • Maintain high-quality presentation and consistency of dishes according to house standards, ensuring efficient kitchen operations during peak hours.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to train junior staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Southeast Asian cuisine, including Thai, Malaysian, and Singaporean cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Proven experience in wok handling and high-heat cooking techniques, with a focus on precision and speed.
