Job Title: Toy Doctor

Overview

This role is responsible for creating memorable experiences for guests through toy repair and restoration.

Mandai Wildlife Reserve is a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that offers world-renowned parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces, and an eco-friendly resort.

Responsibilities:
  • Motivate staff to engage and entertain audience through experiential activities and workshops.
  • Lead staff to deliver basic toy repair and restoration services.
  • Ensure positive customer interactions with guests.
  • Communicate clearly with guests and deliver services with empathy and precision.
  • Address customer queries and complaints.
  • Uphold Mandai Wildlife Group values – ETHICS (Excellence, Teamwork, Hospitality, Integrity, Care for Wildlife, Sustainability).
  • Assist Supervisor in driving sales and experience conversion.
  • Provide suggestions based on data analytics to increase sales.
  • Learn and provide basic toy repair and restoration services.
  • Share relevant park membership and conservation efforts information.
  • Lead and facilitate workshops and activities.
  • Operate booking systems and customer data retrieval systems.
  • Upkeep store cleanliness and tidiness.
  • Execute administrative activities.
Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a minimum GCE 'O' level and 2-3 years of experience in a customer service-related role.

  • Fun loving and able to engage and entertain children of all ages.
  • Creative and receptive to new ideas.
  • Friendly, approachable personality with a passion for service.
  • Service oriented, patient with good communication skills.
  • Able to lift heavy stocks and stand long hours.
  • Able to work on weekends and Public Holidays.
