Job Summary
The successful candidate will work in a collaborative team environment to manage and maintain the Hospital Information System (HIS). This includes gathering user requirements, ensuring timely system implementation and providing day-to-day support. The role also involves working closely with vendors, process owners and users to integrate technical and application components and identify solutions that meet business process requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gathering user requirements and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective HIS implementation.
  • Providing day-to-day support and enhancement of the hospital's information system, clinical systems and ancillary systems.
  • Assisting senior system analysts on overall support and implementation of the main HIS.
  • Maintaining in-house application systems with light development work.
  • Working with vendors in project implementation, application testing, application updates according to project methodologies and policies.
  • Collaborating with process owners and users to integrate technical and application components and identify solutions to meet business process requirements.

Requirements:
A diploma or degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent is required. Minimum 5 years' experience in application development and managing IT projects is preferred. Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently are essential. Experience in using proper PM tools and methodology, as well as knowledge of Microsoft .NET framework, SQL, Microsoft Access, mobile development, etc., are highly valued. Proficient communication and interpersonal skills are also required. Additional experience in local healthcare IT and supporting SAP applications will be an added advantage.
