Job Description:

The Chief Information Officer is a critical role that oversees all aspects of information technology in the organization, leading the development and implementation of the organization's technology strategy.

This includes managing technology systems, infrastructure, and support, as well as the use of technology in operations and productivity. The Chief Information Officer is responsible for:

  • Leading the organization's digital strategy, including devising, evaluating, refining, and implementing it in conjunction with the senior team.
  • Ensuring effective use of adopted systems throughout the organization, including Google Workspace, ISAMS, Firefly, and Managebac.
  • Overseeing and guiding various systems administrators and managers, ensuring they are working effectively.
  • Identifying and addressing professional development needs of staff, promoting digital champions to share their expertise.
  • Working with department heads and coordinators to ensure technology is used effectively and aligns with the organization's strategic aims.

The Chief Information Officer will also be responsible for supervising the technology department, providing support to the technology manager, and ensuring excellent communication between the technology department and operational staff.
