Job Description:
As a Technical Lead for the Enterprise Risk Platform, you will be responsible for designing and developing a responsive and stylish user interface framework and web components from ground up using latest technology not limited to HTML5, Javascript and CSS3. You will also design and develop micro service based API using REST, GraphQL and Reactive principles where applicable. Additionally, you will engineer services for high resiliency and performance, build scalable batch applications to receive and process data from consumer risk applications, and work with cross-functional teams to understand functional requirements and convert them to technical deliverables. Leading a team of developers in an agile team, writing high-quality source code and delivering the application within tight deadlines are also key responsibilities.
Requirements:
We are looking for someone with a clear understanding of JavaScript fundamentals like closures and prototypes, who can articulate the difference between functional and OO programming principles. Experience of Frontend frameworks like React, Vue, Polymer etc., Backend frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, Logjam, NodeJS (Express) etc., and Writing type-safe JavaScript code like Typescript (preferred), flow etc., are necessary. A working understanding of any automation testing framework and a working understanding of Nodejs would be good. Experience in front-end development such as HTML, CSS, pre-processors like Less, Javascript including libraries like ExtJS, KnockoutJS and JQuery, linters and minifiers is required. User experience engineering, experience in using source code management tool like Git and SVN, and experience in using binary repository manager like JFrog's Artifactory or Sonatype Nexus are also must-haves. Familiarity in Atlassian products like JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket Server (formerly Stash) and experience in Java web service frameworks/style like Apache CXF and REST including its data interchange format/definition like XML, JSON, WSDL are necessary. Experience in database technology like MariaDB database, in-memory database (H2, HSQLDB) and its language SQL, PL/SQL, able to construct hierarchal query are also required.
