The Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS) is a cluster of NParks that safeguards the health and welfare of animals through comprehensive and integrated programmes. Our team works closely with partners in the veterinary and animal-related industries to strengthen capacities and enhance competencies in animal health and welfare.

We are the main touch-point on animal and veterinary matters in Singapore and the first responder for all animal-related feedback. We also conduct public education and engagement programmes to foster a society where pet owners, communities, and animals co-exist in our City in Nature.

About the Role:
We are looking for an eager and passionate individual to join our Wildlife Management and Outreach (Wildlife) team. As a key member of our team, you will support efforts in wildlife population monitoring and management, feedback management, and stakeholders' engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee small mammal and reptile related encounters, including formulating management policy and implementing such strategies
  • Manage databases related to wildlife encounters and implement policies for effective management
  • Engage in applied ecological research to inform conservation efforts
  • Implement wildlife-related outreach programmes and engagements for the community, stakeholder groups, and agencies
