Job Title: Mathematics Education Expert

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mathematics educator to join our team as a key player in fostering students' interest in mathematics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating an engaging learning environment that promotes the development of students' skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lesson Planning: Prepare and deliver lessons according to the course syllabus and scheme of work, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards.
  • Student Supervision: Provide guidance and supervision to students as a mentor or form teacher, addressing their academic and pastoral needs.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Assess student performance and provide academic counselling, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for growth.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on best practices in Mathematics education, participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree from a recognized university, ESL teaching certifications, and knowledge of further mathematics. Professional teacher qualifications and fluency in Mandarin are preferred but not compulsory.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized university
  • ESL Teaching Certifications like CELTA, TESOL, TESL etc are advantageous
  • Knowledge of Further Mathematics is required
  • Professional Teacher qualifications are preferred
  • Fluency in Mandarin is preferred but not compulsory
