Mathematics Education Specialist

We are currently seeking a highly dedicated and passionate Mathematics Education Specialist to join our team. As a specialist, you will play a pivotal role in implementing a curriculum that aligns with the Singapore Mathematics Syllabus in an onsite learning environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating educational plans that cater to the diverse needs of students between 6 to 12 years old, aiming to help them reach their academic potential.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that promote student progress and well-being
  • Create a welcoming and positive classroom culture that fosters intellectual growth and social development
  • Utilize various teaching methods to ensure deep understanding among learners
  • Drive outstanding student achievement through effective lesson planning and execution
  • Conduct trial lessons to drive student conversion and retention
  • Establish harmonious relationships with students and parents through regular updates and communication
  • Assess, record, and report on student progress and development
  • Participate in curriculum meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices

Requirements:

  • A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with relevant specialisation or a Degree/Diploma in Education
  • At least one year of professional teaching experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills
  • Creative, positive, and energetic disposition
  • Growth mindset
  • Computer-literate
  • Willingness to be trained in the Oodles teaching method
  • Flexibility to work weekends and weekdays
