Mechanical Engineering Design Lead

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Design Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving design and implementation plans, ensuring alignment with quality assurance systems and delivering results-driven outcomes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Translating high-level strategies into actionable execution plans
  • Leading the implementation of these plans to drive departmental performance and achieve design-related objectives
  • Carrying out design and supervision tasks for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with construction quality assurance systems and producing design documents that meet client requirements
  • Gathering and consolidating relevant information, reporting to internal teams, and proactively addressing project-specific issues to ensure successful outcomes
  • Collaborating with internal and external teams to enhance design methodologies, applying improvements and innovations to ongoing projects

The successful candidate will have:

  • A diploma in Civil/Structural/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in M&E design
