Job Title

We are seeking a Senior Maintenance Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have advanced technical skills and leadership abilities to maintain a safe, comfortable, and efficient environment.

The Senior Hotel Technician is responsible for overseeing all maintenance and repair activities throughout the hotel. This includes supervising a team of hotel technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality work and professional development.

The successful candidate will be able to diagnose and repair complex issues with hotel systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural elements. They will also be responsible for maintaining a preventative maintenance schedule for all hotel equipment and systems to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.

In addition, the Senior Hotel Technician will assist in managing larger maintenance and renovation projects, coordinating with external vendors and ensuring projects are completed on time. They will also be responsible for ensuring all maintenance activities comply with regulations and conducting regular inspections to maintain a safe environment.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a senior or supervisory role within the hospitality industry. They will also have advanced knowledge of building systems, including complex equipment, and certifications in relevant trades are highly preferred.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent problem-solving, analytical, and diagnostic skills, as well as good communication and organizational skills, with a professional demeanor. They will also be able to work flexible hours, including on-call availability for emergencies.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a senior or supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of building systems, including complex equipment.
  • Certifications in relevant trades are highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
