Living Donor Transplant Coordinator
This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of healthcare professionals in overseeing the evaluation, preparation, and management of patients undergoing living donor kidney transplantation.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving referrals, making initial contact with patients, performing interim assessments, scheduling tests, and reviewing patients at transplant evaluation clinics. They will also provide counseling regarding donation or transplantation, monitor patient conditions, maintain a database, and report program data regularly.
- The successful candidate will be required to handle calls and concerns from patients during weekdays and weekends, as well as monitor admitted patients and ensure accurate tracking of evaluation progress.
- They will also prepare documents, coordinate with the ethics committee for approval, manage peri-operative and preparatory phases for donation and transplantation, and participate in overnight calls for deceased donor transplant activation.
- In addition, they will collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care and perform duties related to quality improvement, education, and research as assigned.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will be a team player who is patient-centric, interested in healthcare, and enjoys helping others. They should have a degree or diploma in nursing, life sciences, psychology, or social work, and be willing to perform on-call duties on a rotational basis.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Nursing, Life Sciences, Psychology, or Social Work
- Willingness to perform on-call duties on a rotational basis
- Multilingual proficiency and healthcare experience preferred
- Fully vaccinated against Covid-19
