Professional Occupational Therapist

At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated occupational therapist to join our team. As an occupational therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.
Job Description:
As an occupational therapist, your primary responsibility will be to assess the needs of our residents and develop personalized therapy plans to help them achieve their goals. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure that our residents receive comprehensive care that meets their physical, emotional, and social needs. Your duties will include conducting assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, providing one-on-one and group therapy sessions, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to identify areas for improvement
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to help residents achieve their goals
• Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to promote residents' independence, mobility, and overall well-being
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care delivery
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of residents' progress and treatment plans
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Current licensure as an occupational therapist in Singapore
• At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in occupational therapy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
• Proficiency in MS Office, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technology systems
