About the Role

Lendlease is a leading global real estate group with expertise in shaping cities and creating strong, connected communities.

We are currently seeking a Building Operations Manager to join our team at JEM to oversee and support high standards of property facilities and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Property Manager in all aspects of building maintenance, ensuring seamless operations and efficient use of resources.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules, monitor performance of service contractors, and enforce company policies.
  • Drive risk management focus and ensure compliance with corporate requirements on EH&S, Sustainability, Risk Management, and Operations.
  • Understand and have good knowledge of M&E systems within the asset, ensuring they operate within design efficiencies and smoothly.
  • Manage service contractors to ensure smooth and efficient running of the centre, including contract management and tender assistance.
  • Lead the Engineering department and create a strong, efficient operation team to ensure smooth and efficient running of the centre.
  • Ensure the centre meets required efficiency and complies with all local codes and authorities' regulations.
  • Prepare management reports, documents, and tracking.
  • Assist in ad-hoc upgrading projects.
  • Familiar with local codes of practice for various M&E trades and local authorities' regulations.
  • Familiar with submission procedures to various authorities.
  • Preferably familiar with technologies, open-minded, and positive attitude on embracing technologies.
  • Financial management skills, including budgeting and forecasting, will be an advantage.
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Maintenance, Property Management, Facilities Management, or Building Operations related or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in retail mall management or relevant industry.
  • IT savvy and proficient in MS Office Applications.
  • Familiar with Green Mark Building Requirement.
  • Knowledge of ACMV and Fire Code.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment to meet tight deadlines.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision, with a collaborative mindset to engage with stakeholders from all levels.
  • Strong characteristics with positive attitude and initiative.
  • Excellent communication and written skills.
  • Willingness to work beyond office hours.
