Key Responsibilities

As a technical professional in the life sciences sector, your primary focus will be on supporting temperature-sensitive equipment validation and maintenance activities. This includes conducting elastomer change-outs, assisting in new equipment setup, and ensuring compliance with GMP, EHS, and company standards.

  • Temperature Mapping: Set up and maintain temperature mapping for critical equipment.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance activities, including elastomer change-outs.
  • Process Engineering Support: Assist in the setup and installation of new equipment, ensuring operational and safety standards are met.
  • Project Support: Provide technical assistance to Capex and engineering projects.
  • Documentation: Record maintenance, calibration, and mapping results accurately.

Furthermore, you will:

  • Adhere to GMP, EHS, and safety standards; manage work permits for external vendors.
  • Escalate non-compliance issues, delays, or equipment breakdowns.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial).
  • Ability to demonstrate a growth mindset by learning from experience and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Good understanding of cGMPs and operation of a biotech/pharmaceutical manufacturing plant.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, valuing diverse perspectives and maintaining strong customer focus.
  • Results-driven approach through goal-setting, stakeholder engagement, and performance support.
  • Leadership qualities, including integrity, accountability, and clear communication.
