Compliance Expert for Ecommerce Operations

As a key player in our online platform's operational integrity, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and ethical operation of our digital marketplace. This includes managing risks, content moderation, and brand protection.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Risk Control: Develop and implement comprehensive policies to mitigate risks across our ecommerce platform. This includes managing fraud prevention, data security, and transaction compliance.
    • Develop risk assessment strategies to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
    • Monitor and report on risk metrics to senior management.
  • Content Moderation: Establish and enforce clear guidelines for user-generated content, including product listings, reviews, and community forums.
    • Manage content review and moderation processes.
    • Stay updated on evolving laws and industry standards related to content.
  • Brand Protection: Actively monitor for and remove counterfeit products and items that infringe on intellectual property rights.
    • Handle IPR claims and inquiries.
    • Safeguard the brand's image by preventing and removing misleading or harmful content.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in compliance or risk analysts roles.
  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Experienced in using SQL for data extraction and analysis.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in content moderation or policy enforcement on an online platform.
  • Familiarity with intellectual property enforcement (Trademark, Copyright).
  • Knowledge of global ecommerce laws and digital content regulations.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Superset.
  • Prior experience in an ecommerce or online marketplace environment.
