Biomedical Engineer Job Description

The biomedical engineer plays a vital role in the commissioning, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment. This encompasses overseeing maintenance agreements, preparing specifications for procurement, and providing recommendations based on technical compliance during evaluations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commission, maintain, and repair medical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Manage maintenance agreements and prepare specifications for procurement to guarantee timely delivery.
  • Provide recommendations based on technical compliance during evaluations to enhance product quality.
  • Supervise and guide junior staff in daily operations to foster growth and development.
  • Support department targets and key performance indicators to drive success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent with at least 2 years' work experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Experience in project management in biomedical engineering field in the healthcare industry is highly desirable.
  • Possess knowledge in Information/Medical Device Technology and/or medical equipment operation.
  • Demonstrate independent, self-motivated, and adaptable nature.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communications skills.
