We are seeking an accomplished Transportation Resource Coordinator to join our team at SBS Transit. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient deployment of resources using the Common Fleet Management System (CFMS). This involves directing and coordinating a team of Assistant Service Controllers, who leverage digital tools to monitor bus service performance and take proactive measures to minimize service disruptions and resolve emergencies. By doing so, you will contribute significantly to the reliable delivery of bus services.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and direct a team of Assistant Service Controllers
- Monitor bus service performance in real-time
- Implement strategies to prevent service delays and resolve emergency situations
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have a degree in any discipline and a minimum of two years' working experience in Operations. You should be able to maintain your composure in challenging situations, showcasing strong situational awareness and leadership qualities. Additionally, you should possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to work flexible hours.
