Join a dynamic team dedicated to wildlife conservation and education. As a Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing volunteer strategies, training programs, and engagement initiatives.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead and manage a team of professionals in volunteer management, community engagement, learning & development, or stakeholder relations. You will be responsible for overseeing the recruitment, training, and engagement efforts for all volunteer programs.

  • Develop and implement volunteer strategies that align with the organization's purpose and vision.
  • Design and deliver training frameworks that equip volunteers for evolving roles.
  • Oversee the establishment and monitoring of KPIs for volunteer contributions, performance, and program impact.
  • Foster a respectful and supportive environment for volunteers through clear standards, team practices, and day-to-day interactions.
  • Guide the conceptualization and delivery of tangible volunteer engagement initiatives.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Social Sciences, Education, Communications, Business Administration, Environmental Studies, or related fields.
  • At least 8–10 years of relevant experience in volunteer management, community engagement, learning & development, or stakeholder relations, with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory/managerial capacity.
  • A proven track record in designing and implementing volunteer strategies, training programs, and engagement initiatives.
  • Experience working in NGOs, education, conservation will be an advantage.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and people management skills, with experience in coaching and developing teams. They will also have strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and stakeholders.
