Job Title: Marine Engine Technician

About This Job

We are seeking an experienced Marine Engine Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of marine engines and associated propulsion systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and Maintenance

The Marine Engine Technician will accurately install and secure marine engines and associated propulsion systems in accordance with technical specifications and engineering drawings.

Repair and Troubleshooting

Conduct regular maintenance checks and perform repairs on marine engines and related equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure peak operational efficiency.

Troubleshooting and Diagnostics

Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.

Compliance and Safety

Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with maritime safety regulations.

Housekeeping

Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Experience

Minimum 1 year of working experience in the related field.

Training

Training is provided to an inexperienced candidate.

Skills

Ability to read and interpret mechanical and hydraulic schematics is a plus.

Work Environment

Comfortable working on vessel occasionally.
