Job Opportunity: Marine Technician/Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and experienced marine engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of main and auxiliary engines, pumps, and compressors.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine engineering, with experience in preventive maintenance and overhauls. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, inspect, and repair main and auxiliary engines, pumps, and compressors.
- Perform preventive maintenance and overhauls.
- Diagnose faults and provide solutions.
- Prepare service reports and maintain records.
- Advise clients and crew on technical issues.
- Travel to ships/ports for onsite service as needed.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A diploma or degree in Marine Engineering.
- Experience in marine engine maintenance and repair.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
