Job Description

The Hawker Stall Assistant is responsible for maintaining the efficient operation of a food stall. Key responsibilities include operating a deep fryer to produce high-quality fried snacks, managing inventory levels, and providing excellent customer service.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a deep fryer safely and efficiently
  • Manage product inventory and maintain display standards
  • Take orders, serve customers, and handle basic cashiering/POS
  • Monitor product levels and inform team when to restock
  • Keep the stall clean and tidy
  • Follow food safety and hygiene SOPs

Requirements:
  1. Valid WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 (Food Hygiene) certificate
  2. Able to stand for long periods and work in a warm kitchen environment
  3. Comfortable with weekend and public holiday shifts on roster
  4. Basic spoken English or Chinese for safety/hygiene logs and customer service
