Automation Engineering Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineering Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for studying and understanding customer requirements.

You will conduct on-site assessments and troubleshooting, brainstorming proposals to address customer needs, sourcing compatible components for proposed designs, preparing estimated budgets and conducting design reviews.

Your responsibilities will also include detailing designs, selecting materials, coordinating heat treatment and finishing, preparing bills of material and assembly drawings.

Additionally, you will assist with sub-module assembly and testing, performing equipment testing and troubleshooting, and assisting with buyoff processes and preparing operation manuals.

About You:

  • Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Automation or Semiconductor sectors
  • Understanding of electrical and pneumatic circuitry drawing
  • Field service engineering experience is required
  • Wiring and soldering expertise
  • Basic circuitry design skills are a plus
  • Leadership and project management skills
  • Knowledge of programming and embedded systems (e.g., Arduino, Python, C++, C#, RPI, etc.)
  • Experience with drafting and simulation software (AutoCAD, NanoCAD, Fusion360, SolidWorks, etc.) is a plus
