Automation Specialist Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an automation specialist. This role involves delivering high-quality automation solutions, troubleshooting complex systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient operations.
  • Key Responsibilities:
As an automation specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing automation solutions for pharmaceutical/biotech operations using Siemens PLC systems. You will also perform system integration, configuration, and testing of PLC control logic, hardware, and interfaces. Additionally, you will support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of automation systems to meet production and compliance requirements.
  • Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum 3 years of experience in Siemens PLC systems. A background in automation engineering within a regulated manufacturing environment is also required. Strong troubleshooting, system integration, and technical documentation skills are essential. Knowledge of data integrity, validation processes, and GMP regulations is an advantage.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
A degree in Engineering (Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field) is preferred. Experience with Siemens NX, GMP, Siemens Step 7, PLC, Siemens S7, Pharmaceutical Engineering, and Life Sciences is highly desirable.
