Job Title: Senior Aircon Technician

DAY ONE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Senior Aircon Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial and residential air conditioners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair various types and brands of commercial and residential air conditioners.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance and corrective works on air conditioning systems.
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions.
  • Carry out repair works such as replacement of air con compressor, fan coil motors, etc.
  • Recommend appropriate repair and improvement works to customers.
  • Perform servicing of air conditioning at customers' residential and commercial premises, including chemical washes, chemical overhauls, and general maintenance services.
  • Ensure all works comply with appliance standards and Health and Safety Act.
  • Daily and weekly reporting to direct manager.
  • Perform other tasks as required by immediate supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience in installation, maintenance (including chemical washing), troubleshooting, and repairing of air conditioners.
  • Ability to handle physical work due to job nature.
  • Responsible for providing air conditioning services, including inspection, maintenance, installation, and air conditioning failure.
  • Provides monthly maintenance and operation services to customers.
  • Effective handling of fault/emergency repairs and customer complaints.
  • Possess Class 3 License (advantageous).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience required.
  • 6 days' work week (Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm).
  • Company willing to sponsor Work pass if required.
  • Preferably with certification BCA License (Air-Con License) - INSTALLATION OF STRUCTURAL SUPPORTS FOR AIR-CON UNITS or equivalent.
  • Knowledge in SCDF Safety Requirements for the handling of R32 gas - CoC in Installation & Commissioning Air-conditioning Systems (R32 Split Unit) (bonus).
