Process and Systems Engineer

This role will focus on the technological aspects of farm operations, processes, and systems.

As a Process & Systems Engineer, you will be supporting various stages of farm solutions, including design, build, operations, and maintenance.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Developing proposals for the deployment of farm solutions
  • Designing and conducting experiments to test ideas and solutions
  • Evaluating and building relationships with suppliers
  • Providing ground support at all stages of our solutions

Operational areas include farm production, nursery, seeding, transplanting, harvesting, packing, consumables, inventory, supply chain, deliveries, storage, logistics, and maintenance operations.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in sales, project management, farm management, and research & technology to deliver impactful agricultural solutions.

Responsibilities also include:

  • Developing novel farm solutions
  • Implementing strategies to improve farm performance and the value chain
  • Designing tools to enable operational excellence of farms (e.g., FMEA, risk analysis)

We are seeking a candidate with a degree or master's in a STEM-related field, minimum 3 years of experience in a farm operations role, and excellent scientific and/or engineering skills.

Requirements include:

  • Good understanding and internalization of technical knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with people from different departments and seniority
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken)

This role may require short-term overseas deployments to client farms when necessary.
