The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, economics or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant working experience in credit risk management. They will possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.

  • Evaluating potential risks associated with extending credit to customers or counterparties.
  • Developing and implementing credit risk policies and procedures.
  • Utilizing credit scoring models to quantify credit risk and inform lending decisions.
  • Monitoring and managing the organization's credit portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing creditworthiness of applicants based on financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data.
  • Evaluating potential risks associated with extending credit to customers or counterparties.
  • Developing and implementing credit risk policies and procedures.
  • Utilizing credit scoring models to quantify credit risk and inform lending decisions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Studies, Finance, Banking, Economics Commerce, or any other relevant education.
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in credit risk analysis / underwriting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
