Regional Product Category Leader

Job Responsibilities:
The Regional Product Category Leader is accountable for the comprehensive management of designated product categories, spearheading the formulation and execution of the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for Razer's product launches throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
In this pivotal role, you will significantly contribute to the successful introduction of Razer's innovative products across various AP countries. Reporting directly to the regional Vice President of Sales and Marketing, you will work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and global Division category leaders, to develop and implement the regional GTM strategy. Your strategic acumen, market understanding, and product knowledge will be crucial in defining product assortment, pricing, distribution channels, and the marketing mix (4P) for our advanced technology products aimed at gamers.

- GTM Strategy Development: Lead the creation and execution of detailed GTM strategies for Razer's product launches across the Asia-Pacific region, including market analysis, target audience identification, and product positioning to ensure effective market entry.
- Market Insights: Remain informed about industry trends, competitive dynamics, and customer preferences in the AP region. Transform these insights into actionable recommendations for product improvements and market opportunities.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle, from pre-launch planning to end-of-life, ensuring alignment with regional market demands and global product strategies.
- Pricing Strategy: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to devise competitive and profitable pricing strategies, adjusting as necessary to optimize market share.
- Sales Collaboration: Work with team members on sales forecasting, campaign planning, and traffic & demand generation initiatives.
- Channel Training: Cultivate and maintain relationships with regional distributors, retailers, and business partners to instill confidence in our new products and enhance market reach.
- Marketing Mix: Partner with the Marketing team to design and implement marketing campaigns that resonate with gamers in the AP region, defining messaging, target audiences, and activities.
- Product Launch Execution: Organize and oversee successful new product introductions (NPI), coordinating with global Divisions, Sales teams, and regional partners while monitoring launch performance and making necessary adjustments.
- Market Performance Analysis: Continuously evaluate product performance, market share data, and customer feedback, using these insights to refine strategies and provide data-driven recommendations.
Pre-Requisites:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in global or regional product marketing or a related field.
- A data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting data, identifying issues, and proposing constructive solutions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with regional and global teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
- A thorough and solution-oriented approach to work.
- Flexibility and capacity to perform under pressure.
- A deep understanding of the tech product lifecycle and the ability to manage multiple products concurrently.
- Preferred experience in Consumer Electronics, Sports Fashion, or Direct-to-consumer sectors.
- A strong grasp of the gamer mindset and the gaming and consumer electronics industry.
