Job Summary

The primary objective of this role is to establish a robust occupational health and safety framework within the organization. This involves coordinating various activities and initiatives aimed at ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing workers compensation claims in accordance with relevant regulations.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of occupational health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Coordinating EHS promotional activities throughout the organization.
  • Participating in risk management team meetings to discuss and address potential hazards.
  • Briefing senior management on the status of occupational health and safety programs and initiatives.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to staff on occupational health and safety-related matters.
  • Maintaining accurate records of occupational health and safety incidents, investigations, and corrective actions.

This role requires strong skills in occupational health and safety management, risk assessment, incident investigation, compliance, team leadership, and safety engineering. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an occupational health and safety or related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. OSHA, CSP) and education (e.g. degree in safety, environmental science).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
