Field Service Technician

Job Description:

The role of a Field Service Technician is to perform on-site equipment servicing, installation and commissioning of newly sold equipment, as well as provide timely and accurate weekly updates to the Manager on service activities, customer issues, and equipment status.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment at customer sites to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Install and commission newly sold equipment, ensuring proper configuration and functionality according to customer requirements.
  • Provide timely and accurate weekly updates to the Manager on service activities, customer issues, and equipment status.
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to offer round-the-clock technical support, ensuring prompt response to urgent customer needs.

Requirements:

  • Inexperienced candidates are welcomed.
  • Minimally Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or other related field.
