**Job Title:** Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced mechanical design engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing innovative mechanical designs that meet the requirements of our vision module.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the requirements and translate them into mechanical designs
  • Develop detailed 3D models, drawings, and specifications for components and assemblies
  • Conduct feasibility studies and performance assessments to optimize the design for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness
  • Perform structural analysis and simulations to ensure the design meets performance and reliability requirements
  • Drive design reviews and coordinate with suppliers to procure components and materials
  • Support prototype build and testing activities to validate the design and iterate on improvements as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • More than 7 years of mechanical design experience in the semiconductor industry or similar field
  • Proficiency in CAD software (such as Creo/SolidWorks/AutoCAD) in designing components and assemblies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to overcome challenges
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of optical systems and vision technologies is a plus
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Adaptable to environments where Mandarin is the primary language used for communication with our China-based team, with access to online and integrated translation tools
