Transportation Route Leader

Job description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Route Leader to lead our transportation team. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading daily routes for transportation teams
  • Maintaining accurate records of transportation routes and schedules
  • Coordinating with drivers to ensure timely delivery of passengers and cargo
  • Providing training and support to new drivers
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws

Required skills and qualifications:

Class 4 Driving License: A valid Class 4 driving license is required. You must also have excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.

Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role. You must be able to communicate effectively with drivers, passengers, and other stakeholders.

Always Punctual: Time management and punctuality are critical skills for this role. You must be able to plan and manage your time effectively to meet deadlines and deliver results.

Interpersonal Skills: Interpersonal skills are essential for building strong relationships with drivers, passengers, and other stakeholders.

Vehicles: Familiarity with vehicles and their maintenance is necessary for this role.

Attentive: An attentive mindset is necessary to ensure safe transportation of passengers and cargo.

Transportation: Knowledge of transportation logistics and operations is necessary for this role.

Time Management: Excellent time management skills are necessary to plan and manage daily routes and schedules.

Vehicle Maintenance: Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures is necessary for this role.

Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service is essential for this role. You must be able to communicate effectively with passengers and resolve any issues that may arise.
