AV/Lightning Technician Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced AV/Lightning Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of audio-visual and lighting systems, as well as excellent technical skills.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Setup and Operation: Set up and operate audio-visual and lighting systems at event venues, ensuring that all equipment is safely rigged and maintained.
  • Lighting Control: Program and control lighting consoles, dimmers, and other lighting gear to achieve the desired visual effect.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site quickly and effectively, minimizing downtime and ensuring that events run smoothly.
  • Equipment Management: Assist in loading/unloading, transporting, and installing AV/lighting equipment, ensuring that it is properly stored and maintained.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of AV and lighting equipment, ensuring that all items are accounted for and easily accessible.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Expertise: Minimum ITE Certificate in Electrical, Electronics, AV Technology, or related field.
  • Hands-on Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in AV or lighting for events.
  • Additional Advantage: Added advantage of having experience supporting virtual or hybrid events.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiar with sound systems, mixers, projectors, LED walls, moving lights, DMX systems, etc.
