Our organization is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the position of Risk & Compliance Specialist. This role requires an individual with extensive knowledge of risk management, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:- Identify and Assess Risks: Evaluate operational, financial, and strategic risks across business units to ensure the organization's continued success.
- Develop Mitigation Plans: Collaborate with stakeholders to create comprehensive mitigation plans that address identified risks.
- Analyze Business Processes: Examine business processes and financial data to uncover potential risk exposures and control gaps.
- Compliance Framework Development: Support the development and implementation of compliance policies and frameworks that align with regulatory requirements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory adherence and internal policy enforcement.
- Risk Awareness Culture Promotion: Foster a risk-aware culture through training and engagement with operational and finance teams.
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in risk management, internal audit, compliance, process improvement, or business controls.
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory laws and regulations is an advantage.
- Ability to travel regularly within the region or as required.
