Job Title: Junior Systems Engineer

Role Overview:

  • An entry-level systems engineer position focused on delivering high-quality IT solutions.

Description:

The Junior Systems Engineer will be responsible for administering and maintaining office infrastructure, ensuring continuous uptime of the system, and implementing backup and disaster recovery plans. This role also involves managing firewalls, endpoint protection, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Additionally, the Junior Systems Engineer will configure and maintain cloud infrastructure, deploy and manage cloud-based system platforms, and optimize cloud resource usage.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management
  • Administer and maintain office infrastructure, including on-premises and cloud-based systems.
  • Monitor system performance, uptime, and resource utilization.
Cybersecurity
  • Manage firewalls, endpoint protection, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and apply security patches.
Cloud Services
  • Configure and maintain cloud infrastructure for internal and client-facing applications.
  • Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud-based system platforms.
  • Optimize cloud resource usage and cost efficiency.
Support and Collaboration
  • Provide technical support for distributed security products.
  • Collaborate with Clients' security teams to support incident investigations and system audits.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity principles, and cloud services. Experience with firewall management, endpoint protection, and intrusion detection/prevention systems is essential. Additionally, you should be proficient in cloud infrastructure configuration and maintenance, as well as optimization techniques.
