About the Role:

As a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining large-scale cloud infrastructure to support our mission-critical services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architecture\
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize cloud infrastructure needs\
• Develop and maintain automation tools and scripts to streamline cloud operations\
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues to ensure optimal performance and availability\
• Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and best practices to continuously improve cloud infrastructure\
• Work closely with developers to integrate cloud infrastructure with application development\
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure cloud infrastructure meets security standards and compliance requirements\
• Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud infrastructure\
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines for cloud-based applications\
• Contribute to the development of cloud computing roadmaps and strategic plans\
• Act as a technical lead for cloud infrastructure projects and mentor junior engineers\
• Participate in on-call rotations for cloud infrastructure support and troubleshooting\\
  

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts, including scalability, security, and high availability\
• Experience with cloud infrastructure deployment and management using tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform\
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell\
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams\
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines\
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues\
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes\
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including protocols and architectures\
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack\
• Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements for cloud infrastructure\
• Experience with agile methodologies and version control systems such as Git\
• Passion for staying up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and trends\\
  

Education and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. Industry-recognized certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Developer are a plus.
