We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as an Event Operations Specialist.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing event directives, policies and new documents as required.
They will also assist the Reporting Officer with managing administrative matters and work closely with different departments of SBA for the successful delivery of processes.
Additionally, the Event Operations Specialist will be responsible for any other duties assigned by the Reporting Officer.
SBA Sanctioned EventsThe ideal candidate will assist in the bidding process for event allocations and manage SBA Sanction Event Organisers (EO) to ensure they adhere to SBA's Sanction Events Handbook when executing the event.
They will also provide support for SBA Sanctioned Events, including checking of prospectus, seeding report, etc and ensuring EO submit the post-event report and evaluates their KPI for awarding of event grants.
Furthermore, the Event Operations Specialist will update the SBA Event Calendar on the SBA website.
National Open Championships (NOC)The successful candidate will manage and assist with the organisation of NOC, which includes venue set up, equipment from sponsors, publication of prospectus and other logistics and operations to ensure a successful event.
They will also coordinate with the Referee and Deputy Referee on the competition requirements and work with the marketing team for stakeholders' management.
Additionally, the Event Operations Specialist will coordinate with BWF, BAC, Appointed Referee Team and any other key stakeholders to manage entries, accreditations of players and other competition-related matters.
International Badminton Events in SingaporeThe ideal candidate will assist RO with, but not limited to, event setup, logistics arrangement, event experience for spectators, ticketing strategies, merchandise plan, and any other event ideas/operations that can boost the event branding as the host country.
Furthermore, the Event Operations Specialist will manage the existing database of Referees, Umpires and Line Judges locally and assist in preparing a development pathway to upgrade the existing pool of TO.
They will also manage courses for technical officials, manage recruitment and selection of TO for SBA Sanctioned Events, NOC and International Badminton Events in Singapore.
Required Skills and QualificationsOur ideal candidate should possess excellent Microsoft Office skills, strong interpersonal skills and administration skills.
They should also have experience in event planning, project management and team player skills.
