Emergency Department Transfer Coordinator

This role is part of the Emergency Department Operations team and focuses on patient transfer coordination and bed management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient transfers from the Emergency Department to respective wards
- Manage inpatient beds and ensure they are clean and ready for occupation
- Perform data entry and reporting for patient transfer KPIs
- Assist with bed reservation and assignment according to department protocol and policy
- Liaise with clinicians and nursing staff for bed-related matters
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- A relevant diploma or higher qualification
- 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in patient administration or related roles
- Candidates with no prior experience are welcome to apply
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Working Schedule:
- Fixed hours (weekdays)
- 10am – 7.30pm (Mon – Thurs) / 10am – 7pm (Fri)
