Job Title: Emergency Vehicle Operator


Job Description:

As an Emergency Vehicle Operator, you will be responsible for transporting patients and staff safely and efficiently. You will also be required to assist with patient transfers and respond to emergency situations.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills and be able to work well under pressure. You should also possess a valid Class 3 driving license and be willing to work rotating day and night shifts according to the roster.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a vehicle safely and ensure the comfort and safety of all patients and staff.
  • Assist staff in transferring patients by stretcher, using proper transfer and lifting techniques.
  • Transport items such as documents, equipment, and specimens within or outside the hospital campus.
  • Respond to emergency activations and standby at the Accident and Emergency (A&E) department.
