Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the bakery team in the preparation of pastry, including mixing, baking, and decorating
  • Execute and maintain consistent recipes and presentation to meet quality standards
  • Follow proper handling and storage procedures for food products to ensure food safety and quality
  • Handle equipment in a safe and proper manner to prevent accidents and damage
  • Maintain workstations and equipment in a clean and tidy condition, adhering to proper hygiene practices
  • Minimize waste and spoilage of ingredients, and ensure proper inventory management
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, and report any issues or concerns to management
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in a bakery or food preparation environment
  • No experience applicants are welcome to apply, with a willingness to learn and develop skills
  • Strong passion for baking and commitment to quality and safety
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision, and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on efficiency and productivity
