High Availability Support Services Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned support professional to join our team. This role involves architecting and delivering high-availability support services for mission-critical enterprise platforms and data systems.
Job DescriptionThis position requires the ability to maintain system integrity, optimize performance, and ensure strict quality assurance protocols are met. A core part of this responsibility will be to drive continuous improvement in support practices, leveraging deep technical expertise and strong vendor management skills to resolve complex issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Expert-level proficiency in Java, J2EE, JMS, Webservices, Microservices, UNIX shell scripting, COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, Oracle (SQL & PL/SQL), DB2, IBM MQ Series, Weblogic, Tomcat, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Control M, OPC Batch Scheduler, GitLab/GitHub, Agile/Waterfall methodologies, ServiceNow, Jira, Swift products including Swift Alliance, Alliance Messaging Hub, GPI, SAG/SNL.
- Deep technical skills in server environments like Weblogic and Tomcat, job scheduling tools such as Control M and OPC Batch Scheduler, IT service management platforms like ServiceNow and Jira.
- Proven track record in managing release cycles and deploying components across testing and production environments.
- Ability to act as a focal point for critical incidents and lead cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Skilled in stakeholder management, performance tracking, and leading support initiatives that span business, security, and infrastructure domains.
- Proficiency in Agile ceremonies and user story refinement is highly valued.
