Job Title: Catering Sales Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled sales professional to join our catering team as a Catering Sales Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a strong pipeline of leads, building long-term relationships with clients, and customizing catering packages to meet their needs and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, online research, and social media.">
  • Assist in the preparation of quotations, tenders, and contracts, ensuring profitability.">
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.">
  • Understand client requirements and customize catering packages to meet their needs and budget.">
  • Provide expert advice on menu planning, event setup, and service options.">
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.">
  • Maintain and update the client database to track sales activities and opportunities.">
  • Analyze performance metrics and provide recommendations to improve conversion rates.">
  • Liaise with the operations team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of catering services.">
  • Attend site inspections, tender briefings, and pre-event meetings as required.">
  • Follow up with clients post-event to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction.">
  • Address any issues or complaints promptly to maintain positive client relationships.">
  • Prepare accurate sales reports and forecasts for management review.">
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations.">

Requirements:

  • Possess a Diploma / or Trade Certificate in Relevant Discipline">
  • Strong leadership and supervision skills for sales team">
  • Good communication skills, meticulous, always accurate results-driven">
  • Quick-thinking, versatility to solve problems">
  • Highly-motivated and able to work independently">
  • Strong desire to own projects and exceed beyond expectations">
  • Versatility and ability to find solutions and deliver results">
  • At least 3 years' experience in sales-related or catering">
  • Ability to speak Mandarin to communicate with Chinese-speaking only customers, China-born team members">
  • Strong command of MS Word/Excel etc.">
