Job Title: Culinary Artist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled culinary artist to join our team as a key member of our kitchen. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes using wood fire techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up workstations with necessary ingredients and equipment to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Ensuring presentation quality by dressing dishes before serving to meet the highest standards.
  • Utilizing wood fire techniques to bring out exceptional flavors and textures in selected dishes, elevating the dining experience.
  • Maintaining a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen, particularly around the wood fire station, to prevent cross-contamination and maintain food safety.
  • Checking quality of ingredients and ensuring they meet the required standards for wood fire preparation to guarantee exceptional results.
  • Monitoring stock levels and placing orders when shortages occur to avoid delays and minimize waste.
  • Enforcing strict health and hygiene standards and troubleshooting problems that may arise to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Knowledge of wood fire cooking techniques and the ability to apply this knowledge to create exceptional dishes.
