SAP Batch Management Specialist Role

The timely and accurate execution of batch jobs is a top priority for our organization. To ensure seamless operations, we are seeking an experienced SAP Batch Management Specialist to oversee the scheduling and execution of these critical processes.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and Execute Batch Jobs: Utilize SAP job scheduling tools to manage and monitor job performance, meeting defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and operational standards.
  • Investigate and Resolve Issues: Investigate and resolve batch job failures or delays, collaborating with build and functional teams as needed.
  • Optimize Job Performance: Analyze batch job performance and identify opportunities for optimization, implementing enhancements to reduce processing time and resource usage.
  • Maintain Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of batch schedules, configurations, and processes.
  • Communicate Effectively: Provide timely updates and incident reports to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP implementation projects, with a focus on batch management.
  • Skills: Good understanding of SAP batch processing and job scheduling tools.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders and explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven problem-solving abilities and adaptability to evolving project needs.
