Senior Finance Director Operating Partner

Established investment firm seeks senior finance professional for operating partner role. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, strategic finance, and operations management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial systems to support portfolio companies' growth and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with CFOs and head of finance to integrate key drivers of success into the FP&A infrastructure.
- Support talent development and culture building within portfolio companies.
- Interact with stakeholders, including C-suite management and board of directors.
Core Skills & Competencies:
- Strong grasp of financial metrics and business outcomes.
- Commercial acumen, understanding market trends, customer needs, supply chain dynamics.
- Leadership, collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and cultural adaptability.
- People skills, EQ skills, and ability to work effectively in diverse environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, MBA preferred.
- Profile: Senior finance professionals with similar operating partner experience gained with PE/investment firms.
- Experience: 25+ years of finance exp, including FP&A and strategic finance experience.
- Prior experience working with strategic investments/strategy reviews highly desirable.
- Ability to roll up one's sleeves, despite being highly experienced/senior.
