Senior Cybersecurity Expert Wanted

We are seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional to fill the position of Senior Security Analyst. The primary responsibility of this role is to design, develop, and deploy advanced detection rules in various SIEM systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement cutting-edge detection techniques to identify potential security threats in real-time.
  • Design and deploy custom use cases to detect emerging threats aligned with industry trends and threat intelligence.
  • Regularly review detection logic and alert thresholds to ensure optimal performance and minimize false positives.
Threat Hunting and Threat Intel:
  • Proactively hunt for advanced threats across on-prem and cloud environments using telemetry from SIEM, EDR, and NDR systems.
  • Develop hypotheses based on threat intelligence feeds, incident trends, and frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK and the Diamond Model.
  • Document hunting procedures and outcomes to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Incident Response:
  • Lead incident response efforts from detection to containment, eradication, and recovery.
  • Handle security incidents escalated by junior analysts and draft detailed incident reports covering root cause analysis, forensic evidence, and recommended mitigation plans.

The ideal candidate should possess at least 8-10 years of experience in SOC and MSS environments. They should also have extensive hands-on experience with Splunk, IBM QRadar, Azure Sentinel SIEM, and Devo technologies.
