Job Description

As a seasoned engineering professional, you will be responsible for leading the Topside Process Engineering discipline and its global resources. Your expertise will drive corporate engineering standards, workflows, and digital platforms, ensuring alignment with lessons learned and project needs.

The ideal candidate will have at least 20 years of experience in offshore or onshore oil & gas projects, including a minimum of 10 consecutive years with a top-tier FPSO or EPC contractor.

  • Proven experience in at least two FPSO EPCI projects, covering the full project lifecycle from engineering to sail-away or delivery.
  • Demonstrated leadership as Project Lead in at least two Topside FEED or EPCI projects, including conceptual and feasibility phases.

You will be responsible for overseeing project assignment and recruitment of Process Engineers/Designers in coordination with HR. Your strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities will be essential in managing a corporate engineering organization and leading multidisciplinary teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is required. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams, vendors, and clients.

  • Strong hands-on background in FPSO/Offshore process engineering, covering simulation (steady-state and dynamic), heat & mass balance, utility consumption, blowdown and flarenet studies, hydraulic and line sizing, equipment sizing, control narratives, HAZOP, and technical safety action close-out.
  • Proficiency in engineering tools such as Aspen HYSYS, Flarenet, Pipe-net, or equivalent, with the ability to interpret simulation results.
