Principal Architectural Technical Lead

">Job Overview

As a Principal Architectural Technical Lead, you will oversee the development of detailed and coordinated Building Information Modelling (BIM) architectural models and drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the creation and quality assurance of CAD/BIM drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
  • Coordinate architectural models with other disciplines, perform clash detection, and maintain accurate and up-to-date CAD/BIM documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Mentor and guide the Drafting/BIM modelling team, assign tasks, review work, and ensure adherence to BIM standards and project timelines.
  • Generate quantity take-offs, schedules, and architectural documentation from BIM models, ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee office filing systems, manage Architectural Drawing/BIM submissions for regulatory approvals, and support other project-related tasks as assigned by your supervisor.
Required Qualifications
  • Degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology with at least 3-5 years of experience in the Singapore construction industry.
  • Proficiency in ArchiCAD/Revit and AutoCAD, with a thorough understanding of Singapore BCA BIM guidelines and relevant architectural design codes.
  • Experience leading Drafting/BIM modelling teams and coordinating multidisciplinary projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Architectural Drawing/BIM standards, project execution plans, clash detection workflows, and ability to supervise model accuracy and quality control.
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and leadership skills with the ability to take ownership and responsibility for the team's deliverables.
