Job Title: Senior Nursing Assistant
\Nursing assistants play a vital role in the healthcare system by providing quality care and support to patients. The job of a nursing assistant is diverse and requires a combination of technical skills, communication skills, and empathy.
\Responsibilities:

- Assume shift or night duties as required, ensuring that patient needs are met at all times.\
- Assist with wound management, tracking progress, and documenting and reporting wound conditions to nursing officers.\
- Pack, prepare, and serve oral medication, topical applications, and subcutaneous injections according to medical prescriptions.\
- Assist nursing officers during nursing rounds with medical doctors and other allied health professionals, including dietitians and speech therapists.\
- Arrange for residents to attend medical appointments, schedule appointments, assign care staff, and arrange transportation.\
- Prepare and arrange dressing trolleys, ensure medical supplies and consumables are sufficient, and maintain the tidiness of the clinic, treatment room, and medication room.\
- Feed and serve residents on nasogastric/PEG tubes.\
- Supervise and assist care staff with toileting needs such as bathing, transferring from bed to wheelchair, and commode use for residents.\
- Perform daily bladder washouts for residents with indwelling catheters.\
- Assist nursing officers in handling emergencies and attend to emails, phone calls, and messages.\
- Record cash donations and/or donations-in-kind in the record book provided.\
- Perform COVID clearance tests, including ART, when necessary.\
- Assist with the migration of computer digitalization.\
- Timely documentation in the Care Management System.\
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the Chief Nursing Officer and Nursing Officers.\
