Technical Operations Manager

Our company is seeking a seasoned Technical Superintendent to oversee the safe and efficient operation of our fleet. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring vessel operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections of vessels to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and manage budgets for assigned vessels to optimize resource allocation.
  • Manage purchasing activities and requisitions to ensure timely delivery of essential equipment and supplies.
  • Lead and mentor a team of technical staff to develop their skills and capabilities.
  • Identify training needs and provide on-board training during ship visits.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or equivalent.
  • Chief Engineer's qualification.
  • 3 years of sailing experience as Senior Officer or 2 years of shore experience as a technical superintendent.
  • Experience with LNG vessels.
