Project Director for Asia Pacific Renewable Energy

This is a leadership role that oversees the development and construction of renewable energy projects in the Asia Pacific region. The successful candidate will have a strong track record in project management, with experience in solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems (BESS).

The Project Director will be responsible for:

  • Reinforcing the execution capacity of our project management office in various geographical areas.
  • Managing and supporting the development and construction of our projects, from inception to execution and construction, ensuring sound governance and best practices.
  • Covering company projects with functional experts, contractors, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Working with technical teams to oversee the development and construction of projects, analyzing key reports and presenting findings.
  • Oversight of project execution, addressing technical issues and evaluating solutions.
  • Participation in M&A transactions, integrating newly acquired entities and standardizing project management practices.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
  • At least 15 years' experience in project management leadership roles with experience in solar, wind, and BESS projects in Asia Pacific.
  • Demonstratable experience managing M&A in Asia Pacific in renewable energy.
  • A Master's degree in sustainable energy, energy engineering, or a similar discipline.
  • Commercial and technical acumen.
  • Ability to manage multicultural teams with a focus on inclusion and diversity.
